There are passions that are born where we least expect them. My family does not predestined me to be an horse addict.
Since my childhood, without any real explanation, I’ve been attracted by this incredible animal that conquered my life: from horse riding lessons to clinics, from horse treks to exams, I spend hours watching, touching, schooling and trying to cope with that energy, that force, but also that smartness that rushes out of a moving horse.
As far back as I remember, I’ve been attracted by blood horses. My first horse was a 3 years son of the Thoroughbred Count Ivor. I loved everything about him: his keen eye, the fineness of his skin, his class, his quiet energy and desire to do well. He was a talented jumper, with a magnificent canter. With him I discovered the pleasure of working with young horses. With him my passion for horse breeding, pedigrees and mating was born.
In my wildest young girl dreams I thought: “Maybe one day, I’m gonna breed sport horses”.
Today, this dream comes true: when I wake in the morning, I see my horses on fields, foals running in the rising sun. In that kind of very special moment I mesure and appreciate my chance.
High-level jumping requires horses with a lot of blood and reactivity.
Beyond power, that is an essential quality for big tours, horses must have respect, courage, speed, intelligence and above all… blood!
The Anglo-Arabian horse combines all that qualities.
It’s a sport horse with speed, intelligence and smartness. Very often it’s an amazing competition horse, at any level, when he meets a rider able to use his potential. His intelligence makes him a very pleasant horse to leave with.
